How about a magic trick I'm gonna make this pencil..

 Okay well, let me go over the favorite parts of my week. On new years eve, we went out tracting (nothing new). Well, when we went knocking a guy was getting out of his car and was about to head inside and we were just like hey man we are going around talking about Jesus Christ visiting the Americas got a minute to talk? Guy says no heads inside. We keep going after like 3 minutes we are walking down back toward his house he comes out trying to put his shoes on saying I've got time I'm bored teach me about Jesus in America. He is agnostic and we talk for about 5-10 minutes he said he would read the book of Mormon. Super cool that he came back and we had a really good conversation and he was willing to listen and wants to learn more it was awesome. Almost right after this we taught another guy got his number and taught pretty simply about the book of Mormon. It was awesome. 

We have almost completed Blanche's after baptismal commitments so that's been good. I'm still in Virginia beach at least till Feb 8th so that will be cool I like it here. Christmas was awesome, we spent the evening at a member's house (the Woods) we played phase 10 ate food, and right before we were leaving I wrestled with Joseph a 15-year-old who is my size but a little bigger. It was fun Sunday Joseph said he wanted a rematch. It's great I kicked his butt we had a fun time the family has some mats for Jujitsu and so we had a blast. 

It's been weird thinking about how I've been on a mission for over a year and I love being a missionary. We had a good time at church thinking about what we seek for this next year. It was a great time to ponder and think of how we would like to change and I am thankful for the time I've had to change and grow. Glad that in my concentration I grow much faster than when doing other normal things as well.

 Even though he's still home, here is his official week's update: Hi, family and friends, this week has been good little less than a week of actually being a missionary but I'm loving it. I have two good teachers and love my district. I have always known I suck at texting but this just makes it so much worse lol. I might figure it out while I serve over time but it definitely will take a good amount of time.  I didn't understand why they gave me the best comp so early into the mission! Well, I hope I like all my companions but I love the one I have now he is very cool from cedar city and we have just shared stories and talked learned about each other and just started to become friends. it is so weird it's all over text or zoom so that's just funny to me. I'm not happy Bob, not happy.

So much happens every single week here in Chesapeake zone. We went up to serve again at the temple Monday and Tuesday that's why you are receiving this email on Wednesday. The temple is fun to serve at. We removed or put on shoe covering so people can enter the temple. Nice to hear everyone's thoughts on the temple both members and nonmembers of the church. I also love hanging out with the other missionaries and just having fun together. We had 10 Elders spend the night with some local missionaries it was all 10 of us in 2 bedroom apartment so that was a blast. My air mattress had a hole so I moved to the couch what a blessing that was actually slept really well. They had 7 missionaries in one room and 3 in the other I liked being in the 3 the other two missionaries are a lot younger in the mission and it was nice to just chat with them about how they are doing. Reach for the sky!

Baby chicken at Judy's farm. Well, how about reaching for the stars! So I have the best area in the mission and we'll I changed our goal of baptizing 1 person to 3! Well my oh my that's quite a number I think we are capable of a lot through teaching with the spirit but people have their agency and we will see what happens and will work our tails off! We set a date for a man named Joe to be baptized we need to meet with him more and go over more on the lessons but he wants to be baptized and we will see if we can help him get there.  "Why don't you cry to someone that actually cares" -Elder Wood/my trainer. Lol I have the best trainer ever no I haven't cried to him lol I'm fine but he's funny I love him he's interesting at times a funny guy and just keeps positive vibes around all the time so that's great.
