Elder Jonas Gridley's mission

Well no this week I won't be going farther than I've ever been from home. This week I ripped my pants sorry no picture sure you would have loved that haha guess I'm getting fat already. Well no but we sewed them back up and I'll just avoid wearing them. Another elder also ripped his pants fell was not supper good for his pants was right on the knee so we will see if we can fix them once we can. Later that day we were thinking about it and we'll it was a big rip no pun intended. The hardest day this week was like Wednesday I was so tired and done but went to bed and Thursday was the best day so it's okay.  Have you ever prayed to get better at something? Well me too and let me tell ya it sucks. Well I'll keep working on getting better with this attribute life goes on I can do hard things through my father in heaven. When I start thinking about it is when I mostly miss friends and family. Otherwise, I'm just doing the work. But I hate being so close yet so

  Hi, friends and family so I have arrived at the MTC in Provo! Still feels like I'm kinda home because I'm so close to friends and family in Utah still. I have loved being in the MTC so far had almost no trouble sleeping and just love to have fun. We have had only a few meetings so far and just enjoyed them even if they are long one great thing I that you can feel the spirit and I love that. It's not too hard so far to stay awake in classes or anything so that's good. Oh my gosh, the MTC is so big it's kinda nuts it's cool to see how much they have for us though.  I do feel a bit like it's prison not bad though. Like they say the walls are not to keep us in but to keep mothers out and though I'm sure there might be some truth to that I'm like yeah no also just keep us in lol. I ask my teacher all these questions about leaving and bringing us food and I'm pretty sure he is convinced I'm going to run away in the night but it's just funny I

 Even though he's still home, here is his official week's update: Hi, family and friends, this week has been good little less than a week of actually being a missionary but I'm loving it. I have two good teachers and love my district. I have always known I suck at texting but this just makes it so much worse lol. I might figure it out while I serve over time but it definitely will take a good amount of time.  I didn't understand why they gave me the best comp so early into the mission! Well, I hope I like all my companions but I love the one I have now he is very cool from cedar city and we have just shared stories and talked learned about each other and just started to become friends. it is so weird it's all over text or zoom so that's just funny to me. We already talk about coming home and meeting up and going camping or something like that.  I've heard lots of different things on the rules like how they can/are important and how they will bless me if I fo

 Elder Gridley did a great job giving his farewell address.  He got set apart by the Stake President on Sunday 10/10/21, and started at home MTC the next morninng.  He has enjoyed it.
